Who is responsible

To be completed before account acquisition is launched: operator name, postal address, and a public privacy and complaints email address.

Data we use

We process your email, authentication and session data, display name and optional profile details; saved and tried hobbies, ratings and reviews; quiz answers, recommendations and the selected result; essential cookies, locally saved choices and standard infrastructure security logs. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored in the New Quest application database.

Why we use it

Account, hobby and quiz data is used to provide the service you request. Security and diagnostic data is used to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse. Legal requests are handled to meet applicable obligations. We do not currently run behavioural advertising, analytics tags or a newsletter.

How matching works

The quiz compares your yes, no and unknown answers with editorially assigned hobby traits, then asks questions that best separate the remaining options. Results describe answer fit separately from how clearly one option leads the others; neither label is a diagnosis or guarantee. The result has no legal effect and you may ignore it or delete its history.

Providers and locations

Supabase provides authentication and the database in its EU Ireland region. Vercel hosts and delivers the website. The operator must verify current data-processing agreements, subprocessors and safeguards for any transfer outside the EEA before Polish account acquisition begins.

Retention

• anonymous quiz runs: up to 30 days, then automatically deleted;
• account, hobby and claimed quiz data: until you delete that history or your account;
• browser data: until you or your browser clear it;
• provider logs and backups: for the technical periods confirmed in the processor register.

Your choices and rights

Your privacy dashboard lets you correct your profile, download your data, delete quiz history, clear local browser data and delete your account. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by contacting the operator.

Age and device storage

Accounts are for people aged 16 or over. We only use storage required for sign-in, security and features you directly request. There are currently no advertising or analytics cookies.
